This place opens at 12 but people start lining up before that, if we get a good count before hand it will help with seating but they have lots of room. Unfortunately the Real Deal Willie Green will not be playing his Blues due to covid restrictions but this place is as old school Florida as it gets with great food. It is almost in the middle of nowhere but hopefully some of ya's can find a nice ride to get here.

My wife and I have eaten there a few times and only once while Willie was playing.
Good stuff.

Count me in. Still not sure about the wife, her family may be here.  May have one or two others with me. Meeting somewhere along the way again?

About 43 degrees when we left, sets the windchill meter in the red, but we bundled up enough to make it a most enjoyable ride. JimC, Jims99 and Mike G all had there big boy pants on today and Liz and Linda opted for the heated truck ! This place never falls short on quality. Here's Liz's chicken cobb salad, she got the balsamic  dressing but their homemade blue cheese is the best. Good burgers, grilled chicken and some blackened Grouper filled the table today. Some unique items available are Duck, Venison, frog legs, good ole gator and a good selection of seafood. Maybe next time some of ya's can make it.   cooldude

Glad that you all had a good ride and a great meal. These old bones do not ride, if the temp is below 50, any more. If I can't be comfortable, it takes all the enjoyment out of the rides. At 50 degrees, chaps, a long sleeve shirt under my leather,  gloves, and a windshield, I can enjoy myself.

good ride, good people, good food, It was a good time seeing some of the Florida folks again.

Too bad the weather did not co-operate, it was a chilly ride in the morning for sure.
I am betting that there will be more RTE's.

It was definitely cold. But don’t regret bundling up and enjoying the ride and company. Food was great too. LOL. I was going to take an extra 100 mile long way home, but decided against that pretty quick.
See y’all next time.

cooldude I know it was great food with that selection given. What a neat place and super destination for the RTE. Nice to see you Valk brothers make it happen. It was 29deg. out this AM and didn't get above 41 for the day, so I'm not riding below 45 anywhere unles it warms above that. Maybe a spring RTE Mike. I'd ride to Tallahassee stay over with family and get up Sat. AM and meet you'll there.  Wink
