Frasier in Southeast Tennessee

« on: January 04, 2021, 08:05:33 AM »

Ordered some parts from Florida to be delivered to East Tennessee via the United State Postal Service regular ground delivery.
.
You know the one that has budget and deliver issues.

Well I think I see the problem, it appears they sent it to San Berdoo, CA via air to get it to East Tennessee. That should cost then some serious cash and delay deliver.

Maybe it is a plot to delay Valkyrie parts to keep motorcycles off the winter highways developed by government safety gurus.

Maybe it is a cost saving measure since diesel is so expensive.

Perhaps it is a way of reducing green house gases, by increasing them.

Could be a new way to improve delivery time?

Perhaps Gavin Newsome is requiring inspection in case I should every return to CA again.

Perhaps it needed the 36 hours in San Berdoo to sun ripen or as a vacation.

Or could it just be they tossed it into the wrong next station deliver bin.

Only they or the good Lord knows and neither is telling me.

Good thing I was in no hurry or great need.

Don't ya just love government services, cause they are so good at what they do.

I had mentioned some time back that I needed a part for my lawn mower. Place I ordered it from is in Arkansas less than 200 miles from me. U S P S gonna deliver the part.  Undecided Left the parts house and went to Memphis Tn. Then up to St. Louis Mo. then to Kansas City Ks. then back to St. Lou then back to K C and then on to Springfield Mo. and FINALLY showed up here where it took me less than 5 minutes to install the wandering part. I've tracked other pkgs with u s p s and I'm here to tell ya had I routed my big truck like the u s p s routes pkgs my company/companies I drove for would have FIRED me on the spot! I'm also aware the u s p s has closed a few large sort facilities but the shambles they have created makes Many wonder-W T h Over? I'm guessin here But Maybe cranial rectal inversion reigns supreme at the u s p s?  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.
