Short break in the PNW rain today.  Jumped out for a short 80 mile ride.  Felt good to let her stretch her legs a bit and blow the dust and cobwebs off!  Rains coming back Friday but might have a chance to ride again Saturday.  Hope so!

Sadly my ride is surrounded by boxes of Christmas stuff that need to go back in the attic. I'd take a picture but it is just so pathetic looking.

Not to worry. She will be broken out of jail soon and fired up! tickedoff

Glad to hear that someone is getting to ride.   Been since the Saturday after Christmas since Valk has been out. Got in 105 miles.

I am sitting here waiting for the projected trace of white to stop (somewhere around 3" now) so I can remove it.  Been getting waves of storms the last week or so and looks like it will continue.

I tend to wait till after lunch (makes sure the frost is off the curves) and for temps to get above 40.  Getting older and cold hurts more than when I was younger.

Understand both your comments!  This afternoon was nice here but life got in the way of riding.  However, tomorrow after lunch time is gonna see my tires turning.  Again, short ride then but maybe a better ride Sunday with PGR in Chehalis.

Keep the rubber side down.

That's great that you got the opportunity to get a ride in......
I was able to ride a little on New Years Day. Felt really great and with any luck I will get a short ride in this Wednesday or Thursday here in the Boise area suppose to be cloudy to partly cloudy and around 50* both days Smiley

Me too but mine was even shorter. I went out for a quick lunch time ride. 30 minutes!

Today was a good riding day, got in about 100 miles.  Forecast is for possible riding the next 3 days.  Gonna get up early, do my chores, and hopefully hit the road again each day.

Finally got in my first ride of the year.   It was a good 140 miler which took 3 hours to complete.  Lots of slow smell the roses and enjoy the ride miles.   Thankfully  the Highway folks don't use salt, just large rocks that are fun on the curves.  It was actually 50 degrees when I left and pretty much that when I got home.   We are experiencing our January thaw.

Whooray:  If you ain't Cav you ain't ....!  Or:  If it was easy everyone could do it and they'd call it Infantry.

3rd ACR, Aviation Squadron (having been an Airborne grunt before)

Anyway, got about 80 miles in today after chores.  Having issues with my turn signals.  Work on them in the am, then out on the road with a friend for many miles!

Take care all, ride safe whenever you can.
