Ahhh...I see what you're doing here Britman. Another noble attempt...thank you cooldude

Said it before, I do like the look of the 1800 Valks with the 1500 bags. Completes the back end very nicely, and adds some nice curves to that more modern look...blends surprisingly well.

While you went New in finding Blue stablemate for your beloved 1500 Valk, I went Old in adding a Blue one for mine

January 9, and weather here hear in BC is sun today with a high of 8 C, no snow to be seen, and clean roads so it looks like I'll be getting a Winter ride in today...can't beat that cooldude

I'm stuck at home with a steenkin cold or I'd be out in the sunny 46F.

Here's what I did to create a luggage rack, and it comes with a trunk. It's a GL1100 Wing adapted to the Valk by cutting it down in length to make it sit over the rear axle. Done only because I was solo all the time anyway. I did convert to I/S lids since the trunk stuck out just far enough to interfere with the lids.

Paintint by The Mountain Man during Daytona Bike Week. Entire project done back in 2013.
