I've been working on making a career change.  I just got notification that I scored high enough to get into the alt certification program....I'm gonna be a teacher  Smiley  I have 33 hours of computer science and I will be teaching that at the high school level.

To make it Valk related, if I teach, that means I will have summers off to go riding!  Woo Hoo!

Good Luck, I changed careers to teaching at the age of 47, love the summer schedule. I ride somewhere long every summer. I rode from Ocala Florida to Detroit last summer. Teaching is very rewarding and trying at the same time.

I see 150 teenagers everyday and have had to learn alot about comprimise, it is still the best job I have ever had based soley on the relationships and  amazing students I have worked with.

That is inspirational!  So many times we think that we're only good for what we do.  Each individual is capable of so much more then what we often give ourselves credit for.
