     Just by the mail I receive. open now please. hearing aid ad. Already have my hearing aids compliments of the V A. AAA-might peruse this one but Still a solicatation. masa-medical transport solutions-is offering me a free lunch to listen to their spiel. IF they are offering free alcoholic beverages I might could git interested!  cooldude And the only mail today that makes any sense at all-my credit card bill!  2funny But I'll pay it and avoid late charges. One old fart with too much time on his hands!  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

Dennis, I must be on the same mailing list as you cuz I get a lot of the same crap. A guy in a restaurant engaged me in unwanted conversation re. hearing aids, he was in the business. Figured I was ripe for some aids so started asking questions....geez, do I look THAT old. Guess so! After a few of my answers his response was "yes, I see what you're saying." So I said...."oh, you can read lips as well." He didn't get it but the little waitress giggled...same place we went for lunch when you and Ross came up. That ended the questions!  Wink

Get the hearing aids/hearing test/hearing aid trials adds at least once a month.  Wife gets them about once a month.   Not sure how they know how old we are.    So far haven't them up on any offers    2funny

If I saved up all the paper mailed to me on hearing aids and testing, medical insurance, supplemental insurance, Medicare open season, local health clinics and hospitals, eye testing (along with my regualar junk mail), I could probably heat my home for a whole winter.... though I'd have to burn it in my stove, which would be pretty smokey in the house.

This is why I have left my big (garbage) dumper on the street (10 feet from the mailbox), instead of pulling it up to the house like we are supposed to, for the last 15 years.  Probably saved me 50 miles of carrying junk mail around over those years.

I prefer to always shred all mail (good and bad) before throwing it away (OPSEC/COMSEC), but running an extension cord with shredder down to the street is out.
