Do we want an awakening or do we want comfortability?
They don’t co-exist.
If you want to see revival you must recognize the cost of what that means. It’s always through oppression we see multiplication of the people of God. It’s always through fire when we see people activating the place of radical abandonment in their soul for the Gospel.
What we have seem the last 4 years is our version of Ezekiel 8. In Ezekiel 8 God reveals layer by layer the depths of the sins of the people who were always suppose to be the light to the nations. He showed Ezekiel by their own doings why the next step of captivity was going to take place.
For the past 4 years layer by layer the complacency of almost every believer has came front and center. Layer by layer the sins, pride, corruption, idolatry and every perverse thing here in America has also been laid wide open for all to see.
When God brings correction/discipline He gives people a bad king or brings oppression/captivity. He brings an extremely uncomfortable place to individuals to get his people back in alignment with Him. This is what we are about to witness “IF” everything presently continues. Trum£ was and is our Ezekiel 8 moment. God showing us why. Don’t fear though because we will see a duality. An oppression but at the same time an awakening.
An oppression but it’s through the oppression we see the most undeniable Power of the Holy Spirit that brings Awakening real revival to the hearts of Gods people. Believers and current non believers will have no where else to look except to the delivering hand of God. Like Israel and the mix multitude cornered at the red see! Pharaoh behind and the Sea in front and the words of God echoed to Moses and he declared.
Exodus 14:13-14 “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
God won’t share His Glory. The awakening will be undeniably only by Gods grace, mercy and power to save. We are all about to witness the The Great Awakening that we all have been feeling is upon us. It’s just not coming the way most likely that almost every leading Christian voice said it would.
God is re-establishing His Rhythms from Genesis to Revelation. He is re-establishing His constitution to the hearts of his Bride.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; (Eph 6:14-17)
Take heart our King has overcome the world. We prayed for an awakening get ready it’s coming. It just isn’t going be the way you probably planned. Yahweh doesn’t share His glory. When it’s all said and done it will literally be because He alone restored and delivered His people.
We as individuals just need to focus on one thing. An honest place of reflection and repentance in our own heart for the idols, distractions, pride and every other high thing that exults its self against the Creator of the universe. Then take courage & strengthen the weak knees and stand and see the power of God like the world has never in our current life time.
