I do not think any in the last paragraph are dead and I know that many of them lurk here but never post on the general board

This is precisely why I reach out  from time to time to call different people or send a PM.  IF I get a response to a PM I know they are alive

Wish I knew about Hoser, he sold the Valk and restored a vintage Wing years ago

BigAl went Harley and dissed and ditched anyone not in the cult.

Steamer is still around.

I miss Sarge from Indiana. He was a particularly salty old dog ( said with much respect) that I suspect is no longer with us. I don’t believe he ever posted on the new version of the board so many may have never heard of him. He had a yellow and cream Valk and I’m pretty sure I met him at LaMonts house for a weekend get together many moons ago.

Not much riding this past year (due to a lower back injury), but feeling better now! Not signed up yet, but hope to make InZane in June  uglystupid2

See ya there  cooldude

Saw Stanley Steemer at InZane and later, in October, riding down the street in Clayton, GA.
Rode with Smokin' Joe and Tropic Traveler (and about 10 others from AL and FL) to Cedar Key FL last December, so those guys are still kickin'.
At least one of the names you mentioned has been BANNED from VRCC.

Still around and kicking, I still have my 2 1500 Valks.

I was glad to see you posting about your new to you; 1800 that you've got tricked out, as you do all your bikes.

Take care my friend

Hey ALL, I am still here juts been away not riding the Valk the last few years. I picked up a 2016 Harley Davidson CVO Limited back in 2018 with 27 miles on her clock and now I have just crested 38,000 miles and basically gave up on my electrical issues on the Valkyrie. She still live sin my yard with my other bikes just no time and some physical issues keep me from resurrecting the Valk.
Rode with a Harley club for a few years became Sgt at Arms and had to walk away due to lies and corrupt leadership. Anyway in the process of starting a new club primarily HD bikes but I am open to allowing cruisers from any breed.

Keep your eyes open for a club named Twisted Alliance. Patches will be along in the next few months started with 41 people then spoiled knuckle heads caused to much drama and then we got down to about 9 people now rebuilding we are back up to about 20 and have 2-3 new members pending. now we are down.

Missed most all of you but between club stuff FBook stuff and family and work just haven't found the time to post here in a long while.

BigBF will be missed by all for sure.  I only had the pleasure to meet him for 5-6 days in front of my house during Covid once and was worried at first would be hard to communicate thru texting, but once he got to work was like he knew what to do with not much guidance at all.  He was very detail oriented taking all 100's of carb pieces apart and getting Valk in tip top running order with HUGE patience.  Only time I saw him getting flustered was redoing the wiring into the headlight assembly to get the turn signals to work again having larger hands to get into the bucket to route/connect wires again.

He offered to do a quad horn since my horn did not work either, but declined figuring my cobra LOUD pipes were loud enough to make people HEAR me coming.

Big Bill was at my home twice for days each time.  He had his big trailer (plugged in to my house), but I gave him (and his dog) a room and a bed.  In the heat of summer, my central air was better than his.  I prepared (or ordered) our meals.

I still have a couple legal pads with our written conversations.

One thing I remember.  Watching him work, I was horrified to see him throw every, nut, bolt, screw, washer, spacer, small part and widget from all over the bike into one bucket.  I asked him about it and he laughed and wrote... Don't worry, I know where everything goes.  And he did.  If I did that, I'd never get things back together again.   Grin

I remember Xtracho pretty well he had gotten that old 40s Indian and was fixing it up was pretty interesting.  But sadly while riding his Valkyrie I believe he suffered a heart attack ran  into a concrete piling on the highway and died.

Bill came to my house in Roswell for a few days and worked on my bike and a few others.

No communication problems whatsoever.

The he came to Clayton to work on my next Valkyrie and "set camp" in the WalMart parking lot as far as possible from the store.

Great guy and sorely missed.

That's for sure.  I could use his help right now.  Not only was Bill a very skilled Valkyrie whisperer, he was a kind, easygoing dude.
