I tried finding some pics of him with no luck. Always thought he was a good dude. Only made one ride with him. It was on a Death Valley ride in '14. We had some good conversations with a few drinks thrown in for good measure. This was a video of that ride. Donald is in a few scenes. RIP my friend.

He was an interesting guy. Both a an MD and JD, but so down to earth. His death was such a shock.
His obituary, with VRCC honorable mention, is at this link:

An impressive life well lived. The good die too young, he was only a few months older than myself.

He was a good and interesting fellow.
Not many can do what it takes to be an MD and a JD. (and he chose wisely working as an MD)
I have many PMs with him on here, mostly on his later in life interest in firearms.
We did not discuss politics much, but I once asked him just how long he had lived in CA.
He laughed.
(I'd have to look, but I know I have PMs with several members who have left this earth, including BF)
If only the good die young, I should be set for a while.

I was supposed to meet him on my way to F6gals place but he was out playing golf in the high winds
Was so surprised to hear that he had passed suddenly
Nothing is guaranteed in this life so enjoy it and make the most of every day
