These little fire pits are pretty cool. A little price but maybe worth it?

I've been eyeballing one of those, does it really work as to being nearly smoke-free?

Yeah once you have a  fire going and the secondary burn starts working. When you first fire it up, still smoky. It took about 15-20 minutes for it to be relatively smoke free.

A buddy of mine has something like that in his backyard.

His is the basket out of an old washing machine.

I think we have the same buddy, he's rather hot and likes to glue things..... Wink

Never heard of them. Just watched a video on it. Interesting.

Although I think it’s another case of an engineer/marketing person coming up with a brilliant idea for a problem that doesn’t exist for an exorbitant price...and it takes the enjoyment out of the thing you’re trying to do in the first place...the video I saw said that you aren’t supposed to have your wood/fire higher than the top. So you’re sitting around a fire that you can’t see...isn’t that the nice part of sitting around a fire?

Looks neato, we burn a lot of wood.
The wash machine is too new for burning logs...  coolsmiley
