A couple of weeks ago during a political discussion on the Capitol assault a certain member on here called my brother Bovine an "asshole" again. He had been warned multiple time but yet still continues to berate conservative members over difference of opinion.

With that said, I was DONE. I was done with the name calling and condescension.  The board had become to toxic to continue to post. I even sent Carl a text stating my intentions. Then I was told recently that the administration had added a separate board for controversial threads so I came back to check it out. Up until now I didn't see the use for such a board. But the last four years have showed us that it has been needed after all. I've been on this board over twenty years now and in that time the board got contentious but not like it had the last four years and even the last four months.

A big shout out goes out to admin's for their continued work keeping the board as civil as possible...

Actually, it wasn't needed.  Al people had to do was not open the political posts.  But hey, at least now we don't have a bunch of snowflakes melting.  We're back to being one big happy family again.  Yea!!

You are absolutely right. But, having my morning coffee is much more pleasant these days not having page 1 filled with "stuff".

Who was forcing you to look at or read the "stuff"?

Well, I'm a fairly new guy here, but I'm an old guy who is just lazy enough not to want to have to do more than is necessary.

No one was forcing anyone to open the dung heap threads, and if all the titles gave a good indication of the content (granted, most did), then you could skip them.  BUT, having to skim the titles, decipher if someone was being "cute" with their wording, sift through the stuff that normally is shoveled out of the barn to get to something related to a Valk or at least a motorcycle was a PITA.

With PaM, (thank you very much admin!!!) those that want to partake of the bile can do so easily.  Those of us that want nothing to do with it can avoid it easily.

Frankly, on a motorcycle forum, I don't need to know your politics, religion or prejudices.....except against HD of course.  And if I do know, and disagree, I won't call you names or insult your intelligence or sincerity.  Pretty sure no matter what I might write I won't be changing any minds, just as you won't be able to change mine.  That's a fair description of a waste of time.

So, please, put those posts in the new "file" and keep the others clear.

Thank you very much.
