Get some a b s plastic and some a b s Black hardening glue and fab up what you need. The A B S hardening glue when it sets up can be filed sanded and painted. I repaired a cracked saddle bag with this process. da prez-My Brother B T W-has done some of this very repair I'm talking about. Take your time and figure what you need to do. And what ever you do let the glue Cure as long as it's sposed to. RIDE SAFE.

Mine's not broken, so I don't have direct experience, but hidden
velcro seems like a fix I'd try...

Mine was screwed, to a metal bracket that bent around to the side cover. My side cover tab was broken off. I placed a bent washer in a bed of ABS glue, then topped it off with some JB Weld 5 min epoxy.  Works fine. As long as you remember how to remove the covers, it shouldn't bend/brake. A lot less expensive than buying a new one, and it's not seen anyways, as the fix is on the inside. |
