I had my 72nd chemo injection yesterday, and will continue with twice a month injections indefinitely. What started as a 2 year / 48 injections, quickly turned into a 3 year / 72 injections, has now morphed into 'until further notice / or until until heart issues are detected.'
As long as these cancer fighting medicines are keeping me cancer free, I will sit my a$$ in the oncology chair twice a month and not pi$$ & moan about it.
Life goes on, and I will continue to swing with both fists, enjoying being a menace to society whenever I can....

Wow, I did not know this. I feel your pain . I finished up my surgery, radiation , [that kicked my ass bad! still have not recovered from that ] petscan next week, but they want to hold off on the chemo for now, because of the 2 heart attacks I had a while back.. Fooking cancer!! throat cancer in my case, and I never smoked a cigerate! I'm with ya on the fact the Docs all say we'll see and the words We don't know yet! We have GOT to get back up to Bar Harbor this summer, you and I could raise some hell!

Yup, Cancer sucks but we have to keep living our "dash"
In case you don't know what I mean. My younger daughter told me years ago when I got "that call" from the Doc. She said to look at any grave stone and in between the birth date and the death date there is a dash. She always tells me to live my dash, so i'll pass it along.
Live your dash !!!!!!!

Glad to hear you and Crazy Miles are fighting the good fight. I lost a MC friend to Liver Cancer two years ago. He was 34 years old. (Screw Cancer) He served in Iraq so who knows if that had anything to do with it. The world is a better place with both of YOU in it.

You are right Rick, any form of cancer is the devil in disguise....All any one can do is fight the fight, and maintain a positive attitude from start to finish. Let the stronger one survive !!
