I am looking to put some hard bags on my lady. I have been looking at Viking bags. Anyone on here using them? Pictures? Do I need the shock cutout? Any advice on these or other bags is welcomed.

These are pricey but almost exactly the same size as OEM very sturdy and well made.
No I don’t have them but have seen them on other Valkyrie’s.

Thanks for the info, I do like those. Now I have a added dilemma, should I wait until I can afford them lol. I had just talked myself into freeing up enough money for the Viking bags. They are larger than the large Viking.

I'll help potentially add to your dilemma. I've been looking at these Tsukayu bags off and on.  They come in either ABS or Fiberglass so can be more economical if one desires.  They seem like they'd fit the Valk nicely IMO.

I believe the same bags are also sold as TKY but not sure.

LOL, you are correct, usually around April although I have ridden every month in Ohio. I don't with this bike because of all the chrome and salt are a terrible combination. Hopefully this weekend I will finish painting the ceiling in the garage and start tearing her down for cleaning and whatever else I dream up( wallet withstanding).

Those bags look nice and do fit the valk nicely but they are not near the quality of the champion and the locks suck (they are weak)
Again just my opinion.

I've had the Tsukayu Jumbo Strong bags on the bike for close to 15yrs with zero issues.
The newer ones appear to be significantly better.

Hope so but the ones I saw on a bike looked very cheaply made and the owner was not happy with the broken locks.

The Tsykayu locks were an issue when they first came out, and were then upgraded to better quality some years ago.

And this is old news, but for years and years, California Sidecar that made the Patriot Bags was terrible to deal with and never answered their phone or mail.  The bags are top quality, if you can actually get them.
