Down in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, Boudreaux gets a job with BP helping with the cleanup of the Gulf oil spill. He reports for work and is told to speak to a supervisor about his assignment.
He finds the man and asks, "What it is I'm supposed to do?"
The supervisor tells him to go to the animal shelter and clean the pelicans.
Two hours later, Boudreaux comes up to the supervisor and says, "Okay, dey all cleaned. Now you want me to cook some rice?

Love me some Cajun jokes.   cooldude

We had a real Cajun in my initial military training tell one of the seediest (and funniest) jokes/stories I ever heard in my whole life (and they are way funnier when told by an actual Cajun in their native language) at our graduation party, with all the faculty and their wives present, and he got in some trouble over it.   Grin

Dude, that was a great story, but what were you thinking?

I were thinking it were funny.... and everyone had dem a good sense a humor.

That was not the last time he had (official) troubles over his Cajun humor.

I would tell that story here, but part of it involves a bunch of body movements and gyrations that cannot be adequately put into (just) writing.
