Connie,

I'm with everyone else on this! Hope and pray for the best possible outcome... and of course a very speedy recovery... You've been most generous in offering wise advise to some of us in our time of need... sure wish I had some for you! I do have lots of well wishes, though, and they're all directed your way!!!

Home again.  Surgeon says it went well (don't they always say that?).  Local anesthesia hasn't worn off yet.  I hope to control pain with ibuprophen/Tylenol, but hydrocodone on stand-by, if needed.  I won't get a look a the foot until Thursday afternoon appointment.

Oss, prayers for SAWB are a good idea... he'll be doing more "steppin' and fetchin' " than usual.

Update:  The 3rd toe and metatarsal (the main problems) don't seem to hurt much.  But the 4th toe that was malformed by the other issues, hurts like a M-F.  Which makes sense, it was nice healthy bone and tissue that got cut up.

I was ok with ibuprofen 400 mg / Tylenol 500 mg every 4 hours until bedtime.  Then I couldn't sleep, so I took hydrocodone, hoping it would knock me out... didn't happen. tickedoff
