Well Connie, are ya ready to go danc'n yet?  Evil

Rams

Ron,

I imagine she is beyond 'ready' by now... but probably not able, though... With great sadness I confess I do know just how that status is... Good luck, Connie... When the time comes I hope you can dance up a storm! I strongly suggest, however, that you pass on any invitations this not-so-skillful boot-scooter might extend... he'll understand...

DDT

Bruce,
I'm pretty sure Connie knew I was jesting.  But, I wasn't suggesting that she dance with me.   Dancing isn't exactly a sport I excel at.  Wink
About the only dance I am good at is the "Barn Yard Shuffle".   2funny

My last prescription of hydrocodone I got  (for a pulled molar that had a root canal and had cracked) - I didn't take any of it at all. I really don't like getting prescribed potentially habit forming drugs, and minimize how much I take when I get them (to the absolute minimum required to function / sleep).

DDT is quite right.  I'm walking in post-op shoe.  The sutures come out Tuesday, so the incisions should be healed.  However, bone usually takes 6 weeks to heal.  With my unfortunate history, I'm not inclined to take any chances. crazy2

I'm with ya.  Before the procedure, I told the surgeon that I didn't need it.  He said it would send it anyway, just in case.  Typically, if you take opiods for acute pain, the chance for addiction is low, bc you don't get a "high."  I have used it a few nights bc I couldn't sleep.

All this discussion re. feet and shoes reminds me of a comment one of my daughters made a few years back when her oldest son was still home. He came walking out of his bedroom yelling at his mom "were's my other shoe?" She looked at me and quietly remarked "the last time I saw it was when I pulled my foot out of his ass." After which she yelled back "Chris, you'll probably find it the next time you take a crap." Thankfully, Chris grew up...which my daughter said at least helped him keep track of his shoes!!  Grin
