How long they last this time is anyone’s guess. I remember riding one back in 01 or 02 in Laughlin, I just remember how tiny it was compared to my Valkyrie

Erik Buell has nothing to do with the company. Another entity bought the rights to use the name. Whether that makes any difference to anyone, I don't know. Just wanted to add that in case anyone was missing his work and wanted in.

Ah! I didn’t realize that. At least the bikes will still be made here in the USA. He isn’t involved at all?

It's completely up the the buyer, the style he/she likes and the type of riding that person does.
Went to the linked website and looked.  Buell doesn't offer much for me but, to each their own.   Ride safe.

That Super Touring looks like it'd be pretty fun.  185 HP adventure bike bike, ay?   Huh?

That super touring bike looks more like an adventure touring bike.  I have to admit I liked the old Buell’s.

I’m not sure if I’d buy a new Buell either but I’ve been on the lookout for a Ulysses from time to time. It is probably the only one I’d be comfortable on.

According to an article in Roadracing World magazine:  "EBR (Erik Buell Racing) Motorcycles, the company started by Erik Buell in 2010, has acquired the Buell brand name and trademarks and is moving forward with aggressive plans under the leadership of CEO Bill Melvin."

"Erik Buell will not have a role in the new company, according to Melvin, because Erik Buell is currently involved with the electric motorcycle and bicycle company Fuell."

They should immediately make a direct competitor to Harley's (no longer being worked on) Bronx.   Evil
