Cheapest I've found so far is $40 for a set... which seems stupid expensive for LEDs I'd just fine some side marker lights and roll with something I like... No pics... can't stand hosting sites. https://store.valueaccessories.net/AmberLEDMarkerLights.aspx

Jerry, some time back I stopped at the 75 Chrome shop on SR44 & I-75 where I picked up a couple LED lights almost the same size as the saddlebag reflectors. I left the reflectors on and drilled small holes through them for the mounting bolts...quite small. A third hole for the wiring which I ran around the top of the bag just under that top lip. One lead I used the top forward bag mount bolt for ground, the other I used a bullet connector just outside the bag which drilled a small hole in at the top. Actually were quite bright. I'll see if I can find a picture(s). At one point I had two small relays activated by the turn signal which made these LEDs flash alternately with the rear turn signals. Over the years it drew a few comments but the install was rather simple, and you need either two relays...one for each side, or a dual action single relay. Depending on the directional trigger, that would determine which side of the dual is making contact. Pics added. You can see the LED lamp is nearly the same size as the reflector which I left in place. Showing the ground connection. With a small wire it keeps the hot lead real small thereby making the exit hole tiny. A little RTV keeps it dry inside. I made the hot lead long enough to allow tipping the bag outward for disconnecting prior to removal.

(If you do this) I seem to remember reading that if you grounded the saddlebag reflector-led upgrade to the turn signal circuit, they would flash with the signal activated. (so run-turn)
I don't have them on my bikes.

This works but the LED has to be grounded to the positive side of the turn signal. The turn sig light has to be a conventional incandescent bulb. That way the LED is grounded through the filament of the turn signal bulb.

I made my own for the back. At the time there were some available that were just a little longer than the space on the saddlebag. Maybe they’re still available?

That way the LED is grounded through the filament of the turn signal bulb. FWIW....all my turns, front and rear, were LEDs. I just normally grounded the lights I installed on the bags as shown in the second picture. That mounting bolt screws into the bag mounting frame.

I did my tourer bags with ones from JP cycle. I had to sand the bottom corner of chrome just a bit for it to fit in the insert. They’re also hooked for run turn and brake. Did the ambers on the interstate front also. Fit perfect and also have them as running and turn.
