Might find this an interesting read. I realize I’m a fossil from the 60’s but I love my V8’s

yah,  heard that dodge 6.2L V8 supercharged TRX truck goes FAST, nothing can keep up with it in a drag race, or should I say no other SUV/truck can made anywhere.  Then again, if you got 90K burning a hole in your pocket, who cares right?

The V8 is going by the dinosaur in most trucks/SUV's in the coming years and not liking it going to twin turbo V6 engines.    Stupid emission controls and govt. standards we all will be driving electric vehicles in the near future or at least our kids will see it am sure.

I don't think there will be a massive change over to electric autos anytime soon, the recent power grid issues should be a clue that there just is not enough juice to charge all those batteries that consumers would demand to have ready. And then there is the range issues unless it is just for in city commutes.
Saw a documentary on the incredible environmental danger and pollution caused by the lithium mining and processing needed to make and power any meaningful amount of electric auto batteries, much more dangerous than the "green initiative" folks will ever admit to themselves or the public. And that doesn't even touch on disposal of the batteries at their "end of life" or damage in a collision. Just go ask any hazmat trained fireman about that nightmare.
I think I'll just keep my good old Valk full of non-ethanol premium and ride along with that growling set of truck stacks instead of any fancy electric motor hum !

Ford has a new stupid fast F150. Dealers are bilking buyers with an inflated price.

I was relating to a friend that as electric cars get more numerous, our lives will become quieter and maybe a bit less stressful. Freeway noise can get to me.
