anyone watch it?

Raine Stern (formerly growing up Isabelle Stern) was on and she was in my kids class in my small town about 25 kids per graduating class K-12 school.  Grew up knowing her somewhat and was a very shy, quiet kid with not a huge friend base.  She surely changed that around the past few years, pretty darn gifted in my book.  She definitely came out of her shell and although song not my cup of tea, she did excellent in my eyes.

Somehow I cannot see Blake Shelton doing much good for her with his country voice.  She picked the right one being Nick Jonas I think..

2nd one out of my daughters class in high school to have pretty good music talent the other one Andy below:

I don’t watch the show and I barely know the names you’re speaking of but it’s cool you have that connection with that singer. They all have to start from somewhere to get famous.

Maybe her career will takeoff and server her well. Enjoy the show and good luck to your hometown celebrity.

thanks,  Andy had very caring and supportive parents grew up a normal teenager,  not so much Isabelle (now Raine) never saw her dad ever and mom was sorta different.  Sorta  hard to not know nearly every single kid in a class of say 25 or less, even if your kids classes.  I highly doubt she would have made it as good as she has done without moving to big city Madison WI nearby where the diverse culture mix helped her immensely vs. my one horse hicktown.
