Drones are fun, but it's a lot of money that usually doesn't get used for long...

I got my DJI Mavic Pro a few years ago, flew it a decent amount, took it to an Inzane, and then it sat collecting dust on a shelf for a few years. I dusted it off and put it up in the air to document the recent snow/ice storm we had in the Republic, but other than that, just don't play with it much...

Anyway... just something to keep in mind before dropping serious coin on a toy, make sure it's something you think you'll keep playing with, as they tend to depreciate pretty quickly...

I see no reason why not if on your own land to use them to find deer.   Sorta cheating but is your land right?    some of the cheaper ones are only a few hundred bucks and good enough IMO

Amen, I got one and flew it for about a year then it just sits on the shelf. Mine was a Parrot and took lots of pictures but after while they all look the same.
