Either way... it was the black bike's turn to get some gas run through it
today.

I didn't know where to go, so I just headed out. I ended up going over
to Georgia to see if I could get lost. Boy did I ever!

I know this road. On the South Carolina side. It ends at Lake Hartwell. It
ends at Lake Hartwell on the Georgia side too!

Every road seemed to end at Lake Hartwell.

I can see where I want to go, you just can't get there from here...

I went 30 miles at one point and came back to the same place.
Anywho... I made it home  cooldude

I usually wear thick jeans made for riding. Today I left out wearing Dickies (overalls).
Smokin' Joe wears them all the time. As soon as I got somewhere I could do 70,
the cuffs rode up to above my knees. I had to pull over and tuck them in my socks.
I guess Smokin' Joe's knees are sun tanned?

yes, fuel injectors can and will get gummed up. seen it many times on equipment that has sat for a year without being ran. on some of this equipment iv'e had to replace the injectors because the gas totally clogged them just like it does with the slow jets in carburetors.

Yep, what 3W said.

Sometimes they'll clean up, sometimes not.

Is that your Ford truck ?

When I decided that getting lost in Georgia was my plan,
I jumped over the lake there on that I85 bridge (the only
bridge over the lake for many many miles... the only
one on that whole map)  and headed towards Lavonia
on 59. I purposely wanted to avoid Lake Hartwell, since
I've been down many dead-end roads in South
Carolina trying to "be lost" anywhere near it.

I took notice of where the sun was and knew that eventually
I could use it to guide me in the right general direction to get
back home. When I got near Lavonia on 59 I went
South. I must have picked a road that curved back
east. By the time I got to the place in the picture,
it was impossible to go in the direction that the sun
and the mountains were telling me was the "home" direction.

Nope. I passed it on a road that dead-ended at the lake and
that prepared me to stop on the way back and take its
picture. Neat truck, eh?

I have an "old" truck... it is not nearly as cool, but probably
drives better ;-) ...

Chevron Techron run in higher than recommended ratios will help clean them out.
