BigBF's rig was safely dropped at his house at about 1430.  Rams will hang out here for a couple of days and go on the ride-by memorial.

You guys try to keep Ron out of the Ford Dealerships, now that he has tasted the awesome Powerstroke, the Cummins days are numbered.  Grin

Ya know John, that's not going to be a problem.   I'm told the dealerships are several miles away and I only brought my riding boots, no walking boots.

Besides that, while that F350 did a fine job, it's fuel mileage sucks compared to my Cummins.   Nothing wrong with it, just not the engine I'd want.  Driving at 65 mph, it was getting 10.8 mpg,  kick it up to 70 mph and the mileage dropped 2.5 mpg.  The absolute worst I've ever gotten was 14.2 with a similar type of trailer.

I sincerely appreciate the "attaboys" but, as I said previously, I was just the driver.
I have the experience and time to do it since I'm retired.   Others reached into their pockets to helped the family.   You folks helped pay for all the expenses to get it home.   Oss set up the funding page, Connie did all kinds of coordinating to make this happen, to include getting payback to Joe and Jeannie.  Mark (Rainmaker) and Bruce (owner of Valk # 65) carried more weight getting this done than I did, Scain and F6Banger rode 4 hours one way just to pay their respects and ride along as escorts for a way.   All are saints in my opinion.  The family and I were blessed to have their help getting Bill's rig home.   Thanks but I'd prefer we just move on and take care of Bill's family as best we can.  Again, thank you for your words of appreciation.
