I was curious, would it be possible to get a photo of what all the fuse and electrical doo-dads behind the right sidecover are SUPPOSED to look like? I've got a '97 Standard that the PO put air horns on, and a bunch of that stuff got shuffled around to jam the compressor in.
I plan on losing the air horns, and it would be nice to see how to put everything back correctly. Thanks!

That's absolutely perfect. Thanks!
Turns out mine's not as far gone as I was afraid of (and the compressor didn't get in the way of much), but the relay wired in to run it pushed the starter solenoid out of the way- it's just hanging by the wires. I give the PO props for wiring the extras up correctly, but still.

This is from my 97 as well. Hope it helps Chris, I am appalled that some one as anal about their bike would post that picture! The very least you could have done was straightened out that starter relay cover before snapping the pic. If the OP follows your photo, there will be another Valk on the road with a crooked relay cover. Just pulling your chain. Mine will never be that clean.

Lol. No, not a museum bike. That’s my daily rider. It has 175,000 miles on her. I just like clean.

With great respect I say those doctors give you pills to make you feel happy. A great running great looking CLEAN motorcycle makes me happy. I like my way. I think a shrink would approve of my mental health and physical health. I think you were probably kidding but not really. Now, if I never rode it because I was afraid to get her dirty Id agree with you. I ride almost every day and have rode in the rain several times last month because it just never stopped. This is at the Barbers motorcycle museum in Leeds Alabama.

Some people keep their Valks in their living rooms. Guess you gotta keep her clean and shiny.

I'm still not happy, I might move it again. Motolights, heated gear, quad horns, cobra lights, BFGPS (I think that's it)... a whole bunch of extra wires running all around. -Mike
