Tuesday turned out to be a beautiful day, so I took my first ride of the season. It was about 68 miles, enough to soften up the rear drive gear oil, which I changed when I got home.

Wednesday I switched out the spark plugs. Not as easy as the Valkyrie, as some plastic had to carefully be removed. But all went well and it only took about 30 minutes for the job.  cooldude

Also got out today for about 128 miles. Made it as far west as Hubbardston, MA on Route 62. Lots of snow melt on 62, 2A and 140. The bike definitely needs a wash. That'll happen tomorrow. Felt great to get back on the bike.  Cool

Nice. I took the V Strom out today. Went out through Oxford, Webster, and into CT. I love riding through Woodstock, Pomfret, and that area of CT. Stopped in Putnam for lunch. What a fantastic afternoon it turned out to be. I knew it was going to warm up, but I didn't expect to see 70 degrees.

That's a great ride down through Webster into the Quiet Corner of CT.  I love it, too! Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the great WX!

As I’m reading the posts this morning, I realize that I went on the same ride.  Then I realize I actually was on the exact ride today.  Hahahaahahahaa
Ken,  I didn’t know you are  Oil Burner from the NE VRCC group.
What a small world.   Too funny.  It was good to get out for the first time.
