If they reinstate the group tours at WPAFB by June, would you like to do a group tour?  If so, how many in your party.  Also please indicate if you are a Vet, there may be special considerations for Vets.  If there is enough interest I will try to set something up.

Thanks for bringing this up, I visited there a few years ago, highly recommended!!
There’s at least one of everything the USAF ever flew and then some.
The R&D hanger houses the only surviving Valkyrie. Also the retired Air Force Ones. I was awestruck standing in the spot where Vice President Johnson was sworn in after President Kennedy was assassinated.
We spent 2 and a half days there!
Count me in, I’ll go again.

I checked yes, but it really depends on when you do it.  I have to be at GZ most of the time.
Psycho is an Air Force retiree, I have a military dependent card which generally gets me military discounts and such.  Psycho would likely go even if I can't.

When I went there, there was no charge to go in the museum.
Not sure if that has changed.

I mentioned this once before, but I think it would be a fabulous idea if our group could get a shot of our Valkyrie bikes in front of the North American Valkyrie.

Let me know what you think.

The XB-70 is inside a packed display. Lat time I was there, the X-15 was sitting right next to it.

When I went it was packed into the R&D hanger, and it required a bus ride with an armed guard onto the base proper. No pics allowed until you were in the hanger.

Well, the XB-70 was moved into a new addition to the rest of the museum, so you no longer have to worry about he bus ride or armed security to see her...

Well from discussions I've had with some of the Michiganders, it sounds like we are going to ride to Dayton on Friday, go to the AF Museum on Saturday before Inzane, and then ride  in for the earlybird on Sunday.  I'll still try and find out if they are doing group tours during the week, if not, you'll just have to do the individual thing with all the other chumps.  Stay tuned.
