I knew my rear brake needed to be replaced so I got one ride in and up on the jack.
The brake pad should have been replaced sooner. But it did last 49555 miles. I had a set of used pads from someone that triked their GW.
I also replaced the rear tire after 19660 miles the front only went 15592 miles.

Yup, you got your use out of those pads.  Getting mighty close to scoring your rotors, that could have been really expensive.

The good news on the used pad is how evenly it wore.  Mine never get that low, but they never look that even.

Course', my 22yo rotors are far from flat.   Smiley

That is one sharp B, JackB. You certainly get your money's worth out of brakes and tires!!!
That bike is going to have a whole new feel to it now, you'll be smiling like it was new.

That is very sharp.

I have worn pads down quite low myself....

Do you have some kind of belly pan or jack adapter to get a nice solid lift on that?

I have a belly pan, I put one half of the jack on the pan and the other half on the center stand.
Plus I also tie the handlebars to the rafters.
