I'm replacing the bars on the trike. I now have 1.25" made by Wild 1 out of California, model WO508. It's almost an exact match to the OEM bars re. rise and width, but has a 16" pullback compared to OEM 14". I've had them on the old bike to give me the reach I wanted along with higher risers with a tad more pullback as well. These now are showing age and have had holes cut to allow wiring to be run inside, something I'm not doing with the new bars. They also have a 12" center section compared to OEM 9", an item of little concern however it does affect the angle of the bars as they come back. The 508's fit perfect on both the Tourer and the I/S, my mind isn't made up as to whether replace the bars with new chrome same as the old, or with a satin black finish. Same price, they would be in an all black setting with the I/S trike, the bike is a 1999 all black so wouldn't necessarily be out of place. My thinking is the black finish would be more apt to show dings and abrasions. So, I'm open to suggestions, opinions, etc.  cooldude

I think Chrome would look best. A little more contrast for the Black.

KLB...also along my line of thinking, most likely what I'll end up doing. Only thing needed to make them work is drill a hole on the bottom of each side for the switch boxes to lock in place like the OEM bars have. Rather easy, just position the clutch and brake m/c then slide the switch boxes in place and mark where the little tab is on each bottom half. Drill and lock'em down.
