ok , decided not to go with  Tsukayu fairing, really disappointed in the fit and how much I had to remove from the valk . to get it on , so that's out. any one want a shot at putting one on , this one is on the market. Now - where can I get a wind screen for the 1998 Valkyrie, looked at clear view and I'd like something that surround the head light , like the original. anyone got any ideas . TIA  for advice.

Your little photo seems to show an OEM tourer shield. Nobody makes one that surrounds the headlight. I have a Clearview and love it. Don’t worry about that bit under the light. It has no affect on turbulence. My CV is smoked with a vent. Love it.

I got rid of a good OEM so I could put on a Clearview...
They're great!

I bought this a few years ago for the hardware... it would be
unpleasant and expensive to ship the shield... I don't care
all that much about it, though...

If you decide to tip the shield - which is an excellent mod for several reasons - the part under the headlight will be a problem.

All shields with vents feature the new air-through vent system. The touring replacements are molded in a back slant shape to fit the lines of the fairing.

They can be made to fit right, but you must move the mounts in the fairing (drill a couple of holes and move the hardware) To get it to fit the Valkyrie correctly. And of course relocate the gauges then lengthen the spedo cable... it is quite a job do do it correctly.

Hey Mike,, that's a Pittsburgh Steelers sticker on your shield!?
