This was at the Holiday Inn N. of the beach location.  We later had a couple at the beach location.  I'll see if I can find pics of that one.
What a cast of characters there was.  Some of you may be recognized with a bit darker hair color etc.  Oh and in the one picture at a table in the restaurant I bet most of you can figure out which one was Bear.
We had folks from N.C.,Kansas,Tennessee,Alabama etc. at the beach location.  Good memories.

Yeah Debbie, I saw that but I was going to nice and not say anything...until now that is. Grin  Great pics, those gatherings took place a year or two before I got involved. There's still a lot of the old gang from the early 2000's that I miss seeing in later years, even more so now that I've moved out of state. Hoping to hook up this summer...have to wait and see.

Panama City Beach
Lots of stories are flooding back.   DDT leading the group, someone had a flat and he finally realized he not leading anyone.  LOL   Taking wrong turns, trying to get dogs back into their yard.  OMG I'm smiling so BIG right now from all the memories.   smitten smitten smitten

Oh yeah, I remember Panama City, went at least twice as I recall. Also recall following Michael K with his "new to him" expensive GPS and getting lost. I finally pulled into a gas station and asked for directions. Turns out the hotel was just a couple blocks away....in the opposite direction Mike's wonderful device wanted to go.  Grin

Couple years later he and I rode together to the first IZ in Paducah, KY. Again, Mike with a new and more expensive GPS led the way, taking us on a wrong turn in Nashville. And again, we stopped and got directions which I followed...he didn't, so I pulled off to the side of the interstate bypass and waited for him. A few minutes later I see this big silly grin come tooling along and so we were off for the final leg. When arriving in the Paducah area he took the lead since "I've got the GPS" and I was in hopes of a direct route to ground zero. Not to be...the farther we went the fewer buildings and more cows were seen. We stopped, he looked at his toy, slapped his forehead and we turned around. Not long after I pulled into a gas station(dejavu all over again), got directions which took us directly to the hotel. My message to Mike; "hey buddy, we got lost for a lot less money in Panama City" referring to the costs of the two different GPS units. 2funny

Great memories for sure.  cooldude

John on the Paducah Ky. trip Micheal came home with us.  We must have put our rain gear on and took it off 3 or 4 times the first day.  Had to hide under an overpass once because of serious lightning.  Spent the night in Dothan Al.  Was behind a guy in line to get a room that used a discount coupon.  They wouldn't give us the discount so went over to the shopping center across the street where the guy told us he got the coupon and got our own.  It worked and we had a very nice rest.  We could have made it home but we were very tired.
Gary and Connie from Alabama had a flat front tire on their Valkyrie on I-65.  He got it stopped but when he got off the angle and the flat made the bike fall over.  We stopped after he had it standing up again.  He said he had help coming and that a guy on a Harley had seen them in trouble, went to the next exit and got them some water and brought it back for them.  There are some nice folks out there.

Yes, on that Paducah trip I went on north to visit two of my girls in Illinois, my sister & bro-in-law in St. Louis, then down to Louisiana to see my eldest. From there on to Mobile where my youngest lived at the time. They eventually moved back up here to the klondike. I left their place at 7:00am, 525 miles later pulled in the driveway at 4:30pm local...an hour difference in time zones. Two stops for gas, a bite to eat at one station, made pretty good time. Total mileage door to door was right at 3500, was pretty hot at times.
