Great post!  My son was a barber for a while, and like a good barber, always talked to his clients as he cut their hair.  Every time he cut a WWII vet he would 1 - Not charge them, and 2 - always tell me about about the encounter.  I can not tell you how proud I am of him for the respect and gratitude he showed those men.  It is up to us to make sure our children know and remember the sacrifice of our vets.  Our schools will not teach them.
