It was over 40 years ago I signed up for season tickets for the Green Bay Packers and today my notice came it the mail.
But now I don’t want them or do any of my kids.

am sure there are enough die hard Packer fans if you advertise up there near the Green Bay area would be willing to take them off your hands.

I won't suggest that if I had that opportunity I wouldn't jump on it but, I'd be selling those tickets every game just to recover my investment and then make some bling money for my Valkyrie.
I am sure I would not be attending any of the games.

I feel bad for you. I can envision what it must feel like after being a life long Cowboy fan. Out of curiosity, how much were the season tickets back then ?

Wow Jealous!!!!! You should keep them and resell. The resale market is the only way some fans can go to a game!!!! GO PACK GO!!!!!!

Jack,
I'm curious, what did you decide to do with this opportunity?

I will not be buying them but I want to see what the final coat will be. Where the seats are etc. (how bad the seats will be)
I know I could resell them and make some extra money but with the seat license you have to buy it might take a few years to make a profit.

That's probably a good plan.   I'm a Chief's fan and the chances of getting season tickets is nominal at this point but, I'd also like to be able to go at times.   But, knowing that's not going to happen, I don't worry about it.   I'd rather sit at home and watch the game on tv without the crowd and cost of going anyway.   There's absolutely no way I'm sitting in the stands during a Packer's game with that area's normal temps.   I moved south for a reason.   I'm allergic to colder weather.  Wink
If you don't mind sharing that information, I'd be interested in knowing what season tickets cost for such a legendary team.

I am happy for you if you still want them. I will no longer support any professional athletic organization until they understand that they are for entertainment purposes only, not political posturing.

JACK !
That is another motorcycle !
I would sit in a nice heated garage waxing a new bike with the packer game on the TV. Especially with the NFL playing politics like they do today.

I agree that’s too much $$
Plus it’s better at home on a big TV.

Whoa!   Good decision IMHO.

End Zone?  No Way.   Folks up that way must have better than average paying jobs.   Thanks for posting that information.

Edited:   After thinking about it, this makes me wonder how much season tickets cost for other NFL teams..........  The NFL has gotten way too socially political the last few years for me.   They seem to forget that they are simply entertainment.   I say that having been a life long Chiefs fan.   Very disappointing to me.

I think we US Patriots (Not those losers in New England),  should all refuse to buy tickets to any NFL game.  Let the new illegal democrats that are flooding into this formerly great country pay for the season tickets.  Oh, and the head of BLM, she can afford them now.

People are free to spend their money as they see fit, and least for the time being.  I just think it could be put to better use than supporting a bunch of entertainers and their owners.
