lights work, turn signals work, NO HORN and NO turning engine over when push starter button.  Scooter has a feature where have to put brakes on before pushing starter button.  Still NO sound at all totally dead when pushing starter button.

went online and sounds like either CDI box,  stator, kill switch, or starter button.  I checked all 5 fuses and none appear to be broken inside.

I guess try simplest thing and replace ignition and main fuses first start off with something easy.   Weird that the HORN and starter button are totally dead but do have turn signals and lights.

I think this is a sign to SELL something since now have 2 cycles/scooters out of 6 not running.  Wife says SELL something.

Back to basics.  Remove and clean all the grounds. Unplug and reconnect all plugs. Remove the battery and put on charge after checking for a short. Hook directly to a car battery (not running) and try starting after all this.  If it cranks , continue. If it doesn't , jump starter directly. If starter cranks , it is still a wiring issue.  Good luck.

Use a VOM and check for continuity on the fuses. They can look good to the naked eye but be broken at the end where you can't see it. If you have to press the brake for the starter to work, then I'd check to see if that switch is good...possibly out of adjustment and simply not making contact.

We had a 2011 Hyundai with push button starting. You had to apply the brake to start the car. Had a similar issue as your scooter. Had to have the brake switch replaced twice due to not starting.

Sage advice from the SO (knowing from your post through the years that you don't do mechanical work).

Is the kickstand up? I know many have that also as a safety.
