i have been locked down for past 2 1/2 months while taking my 45 radiation treatments on my prostate.
Finished my 45th radiation treatment at 10 am on a Friday morning and went straight home and got my Valkyrie out and rode 160 back road miles.   Really felt good getting the wind back in my face.  Will find out mid June if treatments worked

Digger,

Congrats on completing your treatments! I've only recently completed my own, and the recollection of having to strike that delicate balance between empty bowels and full bladder at the time of actual treatment is still all too vivid! I agree, riding is important in such matters... all matters, really.

Welcome back to the road! I'll keep an eye out for ya in case you decide to take a road trip... I'm on one myself right now doing what I need to in order to regain some sense of balance in my life... I hope your results are to your liking... Heck, I hope the same thing for myself, too! Good luck to us both!!!

I'm also jones'n to get in the wind. Been working on the trike over the winter, very slow process due to temps in the garage. Most of the time it was just too cold for the 4 IR heaters I got from my son-in-law to do any good. Apartment mgmt. won't allow an LP gas heater. Tomorrow I should finish wiring in the cruise control wiring, I'm adding a relay in case I want to change the tail lights to LED at a later date but stock is pretty bright on the trike body. Nest will be mounting the tank and hopefully have it running by the end of the day. Hoping nothing is dried out, I emptied the carbs a couple months ago to do a little extra work even though I rebuilt them last summer. Still have to bleed out the clutch and front brakes, not sure what it takes to flush the rear discs. Thinking of building an apparatus to lift the entire rear, the jacking points are the bottom mounts for the shocks. Thought I'd use a 4x4 with a little cut out for those jack points and have it long enough to go clear across. Then I could simply lay it on my lift and roll it underneath. Once raised, I can pull the rear wheels off and get at the calipers. The whole thing is still in the "thinking" stage as to how I'm going to do it. The rear brakes work good, I just want to start fresh.
