Valkyrie 1800 Prices
«

I was searching Goldwing's online and of course it pulls up Goldwing 1800 Valkyries as well. I noticed prices are on the rise again. Two of us paid under $9k and one paid under $8k all under 2000 miles on the clock. Now I see them with asking prices between $11-$12k for bikes with higher mileage and obvious wear (well used) not the "as new" condition we purchased. These prices have fluctuated several times since new. I'm glad I snagged mine when I did, awesome bike for a small price.

Yep.
I was quoted $6,000.00 on a trade about 5yrs. ago.
Last week I was quoted $6,400.00 on a trade and it's got over twice the mileage!
So ya I hear ya.

If you want to ride a 50, there's three of them at the Honda
shop I stopped at the other day. Other than that, lawn mowers.
There's no motorcycles to buy. Perhaps the used market is heating
up in general?
I went to the Suzuki shop today to buy a new tire for my 1800
(I got a Metzeler Roadtec 01). His usual assortment of motorcycles
was there... a 1974 CB750 chopper... one of those two stroke Suzuki
street bikes... a few early 80s motocross bikes... I'll have to pay more
attention when I go to pick up the tire and see if there's any new
bikes...

The Honda Powersport dealer I go to has a showroom full of Indians, several Honda Africa Twins, several Goldwings, several Can-Am Spiders, several versions of the 750 Shadow, and who knows what else. They're taking deposits for the Rebel 1100s and have a couple of demos.
