Getting out for a couple of rides in spring, anticipating the season to start, then BAM  a few inches of snow in the forecast!

A minor blip Gary. It's going to be near 70 on Tuesday. I'd be surprised if the little snow that Sterling gets will even stick to the roads. Hopefully Sterling DPW is smart enough not to put down salt.  Shocked

One more day of slippery-sliding Gary, Mother Nature's way of reminding you who's in charge !!

No more than an inch here and it's already melting. No salting of roads was done.   cooldude

Couple of inches here, over 5 inches in Princeton where you (TonyC) ride often. I had to drive to RI this morning on routes 290, 190 and 146 saw no less then 10 crashes some pretty good ones. Weather won't be back to riding until Tuesday when it's time to get back to work (Monday Patriots Day). But everyday is a holiday for you retired guys. cooldude

You're right. I do ride through Princeton often on Route 62 to get to Central MA. This morning, 7 News had a woman reporting from Princeton Center, specifically Bagg Hall. It looked like mid winter there and the roads were covered. That's at a high elevation.

Did Sterling DPW salt the roads?  Huh?
