All of the individuals were treated with standard TB medication (four antibiotics taken in combination) over a period of 8 weeks. Of the 21 participants, 10 were given a cholesterol-rich diet (800 mg of cholesterol a day – about the amount of cholesterol found in 5 medium-sized eggs). The rest of the study participants were to eat a diet which contained 250 mg of cholesterol each day. After two weeks of treatment, 80 per cent of those eating a high-cholesterol diet were free of TB infection, compared to only 9 per cent of the others. This difference was statistically significant. The authors of the study concluded that: “A cholesterol-rich diet accelerated the sterilization rate of sputum cultures in pulmonary tuberculosis patients, suggesting that cholesterol should be used as a complementary measure in antitubercular treatment.”

Many studies have been done to say sugar is the real culprit behind the problems not cholesterol, but like methanol in gas there is to much money to be made.

My Father ate bacon and eggs every morning for breakfast and during the depression ate lard sandwiches. He died at 95. Maybe if he ate oatmeal he would have lived to 100 Lard sandwiches ?

All of us kids couldn’t stand them. To this day, I won’t touch Miracle Whip.

Joe some suggestions, u should do some testing to get a base line, things change as we get older, many times worst than we know. many, many cases of thin people who are fit, die because of unknown conditions mainly unseen or felt cardiovascular issues. there are ways to get blood tests without going to the doctor, just search online. big thing is to get a home blood pressure monitor. esp., since there is a condition know as "morning hypertension" which leads to heart attack, stroke and heart failure and should be tested for. https://www.hypertension-bloodpressure-center.com/morning-hypertension.html

Get checked out before your insurance situation changes. And that doesn't mean the day before your last day. it could save you hundreds of $$$$ to put towards bike trips.
