Picked up a 97 red and white standard. She’ll need a complete go through along with a few parts from being down. She’ll run on choke (kinda) but is in for carbs rebuilt, all fluids flushed, new tires, and anything else I come across.
I am looking for valve cover, crash bar, possible exhaust, all on right side. Also triple tree has a small grind mark so am looking to replace that also. Mirror and turn signals I have and everything else looks really good for a 70k mile bike.
Bad news is I can’t keep this one. No room and looking to move so I need to save. Looking forward to getting started on her. Ordering parts this week.

That’s great, Jim.  I just wish I had your ambition!  I have a 98 Tourer with 28,000 miles on it in my garage that I just can’t seem to get back on.  No, it’s not for sale.  At least not yet.
