YUUUUUUCK!!!!! Anybody who knows me knows how bad I despise the artic weather we are having. 50's in the day with 20's & 30's for lows are completely unacceptable! I'm moving back south after the kid graduates college. This is inhumane, this cold weather aint fit for us southern born folks! Can't wait for the summer. No such thing as too hot to ride. Bring on the double 90's again!!!! Ninety plus degrees with 90% humidity........ Time to ride.

I've seen snow flurries in Florida, but they were always fun. I was always able to ride while it snowed because I had little fear of the snow sticking to the warm highway.

Southern Mississippi and South Alabama have the same forecast. Tonight they are forecasting 20s, tomorrow night TEENS. Holy Frackin She Ite. I'm gonna have to trickle the water then pile the dogs on the bed to keep warm but at least I have a heater. What about you Steamer. Marty

You know, I do feel for you guys down south. For us, it’s normal. Having several days below zero is to be expected up here in Wisconsin. But for you guys, it’s pretty tough. Then again, in the summer when we get 90 degrees with 90% humidity, we’re dying, and you’re saying “what’s wrong, can’t take the heat?” ( I personally love it! ).
By the way, tomorrow morning is supposed to be -10.

Floods last week. Snow this week. Mr Gore, I just don't buy into your crisis. Them polar caps melting? Just send them on down to Dixie and we'll chill 'em back down for ya. My Valk's in pieces and it's too cold in the garage to work on it. Grumble, swear, curse, and woe is me! Havin a bummer in Bama.

However, I only started complaining when it got below 65.

I have almost 18" of snow in the yard with drifts up to nearly 4' deep.
Temps have been rarely in the low 20s lately.
The weather station data in my tag line is my weather station at my house.
I will trade you any day.

Some of you southern boys are surely WIMPS. Here in MI we consider flurries not much more than a minor annoyance. In norther Michigan, three feet of snow is just a start to a skiing season.

Same as sand dunes near a lake or ocean. Wind piles up snow especially on the east or south side of a solid tree line or any thing that blocks the wind. Worst I've seen were 12-15' during the blizzard of 77-78. Busting thru them on foot walking a mile to feed cows sucked.
