I did a search and could not find any others with this issue.  I have a 97 and noticed while I was riding that the radiator seemed to be moving.  Sure enough when I had pulled over and checked it the top mounting bracket had come off the radiator top.

I guess I will have to make a 3" or so plate with a hole in it and use that to press the radiator back in place.  I don't think any type of JB weld or anything would hold up to the force needed to keep the radiator top pulled close to the engine.  I could even weld the 3" bracket to the radiator screen as long as it does not interfere airflow or touch the radiator fins.

Clean both surfaces and stick it back on with lots of JBWeld
