I finally made it to MS and had the opportunity to sample Strick’s BBQ and hook up with some friends, both old and new.

You're methodically getting around to meeting some of the finest folks I know, and some of the best friends I've ever had! Heck, you're even getting around to some of my favorite BBQ places, too!!! I liked that saying you sent, also, BTW... It does seem to fit what the Valk community is coming to know as your 'MO'...
