The air deflectors on the bottom of the I/S fairing, do they mount with the bend facing forward or to the rear...or is it pretty much a personal choice? I took them off while working on the trike and had the fairing off, now I don't recall were they bent forward or....

See...I told you it was a dumb question! Wink

Ooooh, kind of like the old vent windows we had back in the day, just more work to get the airflow ya like.   cooldude

OK Ross, you and Dennis aren't on the same page. Brothers disagreeing...imagine that. Grin  Chatted via denwa and he says bend forward for best results. Wish I could get them to work with my Baker Airwings, has anyone ever tried adapting?

John,
I had mine on bending back toward the rider, and bending out toward the curb.
I found no difference either way.
I do believe bending out toward the curb is correct though.

mmm... interesting, I've never even thought about flipping these around. Think I'll try it just for the sake of it. Have adjusted and tweaked almost everything else I could think of after almost 21 years ...something new to do Smiley

You need to check clearance at handlebar lock if reversed.

All I know is I got a real nice pair of dark smoke aftermarkets (somewhere ?) to replace the worn out clear ones on my interstate.  Honda does most things well but their plastic deflectors and windshield wings were the softest stuff in the world and did not weather well at all.  Just a week or two after getting them on, I snapped one off getting my bike in the shed.   tickedoff

I seem to recall Bob-atticrat-had made some of those air deflectors up. But then again I could be Not correct!  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.
