Just checked and it’s 202 miles from my front door. I knew it wasn’t far but was surprised at the exact number. About half the distance I have traveled a few times but the last half will be all new territory for me. My first Inzane was a whopping 80 miles from home in 2004 @ Paducah. I hope I can take a leisurely drive up and maybe take a few pictures along the way. Most of my travels riding or driving it is pretty much pedal to the metal.

Looks like 1,076 miles from my house to ground zero; this'll be the furthest one since Kali's been riding in the driver's seat.....

Will enjoy the ride but think we'll stick to the super slabs to make time though...

About 850 miles for me depending on a couple of variables.  The biggest one is how many times I get lost.  Wink  It most assuredly won't be less and could easily be more.   2funny

That ain’t no hill for a climber such as your self. You have been singlehandedly keeping the oil and gas industry afloat lately, well you and DDT.

Roughly 650 for me unless I go over the top of Lake Michigan which adds a little over 200 miles. My plan is to take the ferry across the Lake to Michigan which saves the extra miles and driving time and allows for a 4 hr. nap while crossing. Stopping in Midland to visit a cousin, Lansing area to visit a former daughter-in-law of Rita's, Columbus area to visit my sis-in-law, then down to Athens for a few quiet days holed up in a hotel.  Wink

Well, I can't speak for Bruce but, that 850 miles is easy enough to do in a day, the problem  comes in with the gett'n lost thing.   Ya never know where he or I might end up.  Wink
Avoiding Mother Nature's wicked sense of humor ain't always easy or conducive to getting somewhere in a timely manner.

Wink Ditto Ron, about 850 from here too. That is mostly taking the slab but we are trying to avoid that when we can. Taking our time going up leaving Thursday afternoon gettng to Wetumpka the long way.
From there to the Franklin, TN area for Friday Night. Leaving Sat. AM for Johnson City, TN. Just thinking out loud. I talked to Charlie Mac and he said from his neck of the woods it's about 300 miles. That would be our Sunday arival for the 3 o'clock check in.  coolsmiley

That sounds like a great adventure.   Have considered several different alternative routes but, since I'm not going to be on two wheels, will most likely take the super slab for as much of the journey as possible.   Will be taking both of my Valkyries (have offered to let a friend ride one since he's cage'n it this year) and as good as I may think I am, I can't ride two at once so, they'll both be in the trailer.
