For us who are light weights on the road it's always good to be reminded that angry traffic does not stop.   Wink

There is an intersection in my neighborhood that has had so many accidents, they put that same sign up.

Of course, all the accidents have been caused by people running the stop sign (and not looking).  The through street is a long curve, so you can't see very well in one direction.

I live on the curved street (in that direction) and am always careful some dickweed doesn't hit me (running the stop sign, and the warning that it's not a 4-way stop) at that intersection.

And since the covid has resulted in almost zero police patrol in my area for 18+ months, many people now think 45 is the new 25.   Angry

But what NOBODY wants is those stinking speed bumps all through the neighborhood.  They have put some over on a main artery to the neighborhood a few blocks away, and if you didn't have your seatbelt on, you'd hit your head on the roof, even at 25.  I go the long way round, just to avoid them.

Grade school near our house in Florida always has a crossing guard. Problem is, the bandolier is emblazoned with "Cross Guard" instead of "Crossing Guard." So one day while out on my bicycle in the afternoon, I stopped to ask her what she is cross about. The little twit...didn't find any humor in my question. Maybe that's what makes her cross!  Cheesy

Problem is everyone is cross nowadays, and only the content were stopping.  We might as well just remove the octogonal sign altogether, damn the torpedos!

Everyone does seem to be cross today, and, entitled.  Last week a dumbass was passing other cars on a residential street and the third time she tried it she hit a biker head on killing him. He was coming home from work and only several hundred feet from home.
