Originally I wasn't planning on going Anywhere this weekend. But last night before the eye lids quit stayin up I had an overwhelming urge that I needed to go visit that Vietnam Memorial Wall in Perryville Missouri. Bout a buck 80 East of me and so this A M Early got some caffeine and some grease and headed East. Caged it but temps were in the high 40s low 50s all the way there and when I got to The Wall in Perryville it was still misting. And the "gift" shop and museum didn't open till 1100 hrs and I arrived at 1020 hrs. But there Were a Lot of Biker Vets already there. Talked with Rider Vets from Washington State Mississippi Arkansas Illinois Missouri Wisconsin and a LOT of others. Oh The Republic of Texas! And with my left hip lit up I took advantage of the shuttle service. Was able to touch my Cousins Name-Major U S Army James R. Tremayne. Guy I went to school ith LCPL U S Marine Corp Edward A. Meltzer. Both gave up all their tomorrows along with Far Too MANY other Brave Men And Women for OUR FREEDOM. Much like Arlington in D C I've felt and Heard The Ghosts of these Brave Folks. Freedom IS NOT NOW NEVER HAS BEEN NEVER WILL BE Free.

Good to take care of overwhelming urges, nice post cooldude

We will be riding to Bushnell National Cemetery to visit our Fathers (mine Marine Corps, hers Navy) never forget the constant funning and poking about the two branches of service. Miss them both. Then they'd both turn on me being US Coast Guard. Also a good test ride for my new to me seat.

O2S,
Thanks for doing that.   I rode to a nearby Camp Shelby and paid my respects.

I was thinking the same thing, while I was reading the post. Thanks for doing that and for sharing. I also thank you for your service.
