a/k/a Stuffy. '99 I/S Valk Roadsmith Trike

De Pere, WI (Green Bay)

I had to fabricate what amounted to an extension due the lower tree on the raked forks being somewhat different from stock. But got it mounted this afternoon and went for a spin, covered maybe ten miles and it killed the air coming in over the tank. I did keep getting a blast in the chest and face & couldn't pin down the source...until it dawned on me the windshield vent was open! Duh! Still get some breeze but not anything like it was before mounting Barry's air deflectors. I was a little apprehensive as to whether they would be effective due to the angle of the 6 deg. rake on the trike but was pleased with the result. It was $140 well spent, ordered on the 18th and they arrived from New Zealand on the 28th. That's not the first time I've ordered from him and both times it was 10 days to delivery. As usual, the finish on the product was first class, plus you can still see my fancy fork covers. The deflectors don't show real good in the picture so you'll just have to wait until next month to check them out in person.   Wink

Guess I could wipe off the finger prints.   Grin
