As we were waiting for the Memorial Day parade to begin for West Chester, OH I wondered if there would be any motorcycles and especially any Valkyries. To my delight, there was a Valkyrie, and one with a sidecar at that.

Did anyone else ride their Valkyries or see any Valkyries in their Memorial Day parades?

No parade, but a buddy Valk rider and I took a long loop out of Fredricksburg VA, out west up some old civil war turnpikes, and stopped for lunch at a great seafood place (open 40 years).  Sat outside on a deck (first restaurant I've eaten in in 18 months).

It was the perfect Spring day, just cool enough for a light jacket, sunny and green.  My buddy's tourer has been worked on a little bit, and when we left a light together in traffic (front of the line), he lit it up and lifted the front wheel up 2-3 inches (with roaring Cobras).

I don't do such foolishness, but it's fun riding with a guy that does.   Grin

Sounds like a good day. I did get to sneak in a short solo ride later that same day, maybe only 20 miles, with the weather being so nice. No wheelies though.  Grin

Cool photo, Ben.  Wonder where he is from?  Maybe a veteran's group?

Slightly different pace but here's the Memorial Day parade the spousal unit, the elder spawn, myself and Serk Jr. participated in...

Veterans wear yellow sashes and go first, then the rest of us.

The spousal unit and the elder spawn come in around 3:25, with myself and Serk Jr. 2 rows behind 'em...

Thanks. Wish I knew. I assumed he was another local.

And very cool parade, Serk.
