Get paid to smoke weed? California company seeks intern to test cannabis, edibles for 3 months
Jordan Mendoza, USA TODAY
Thu, June 3, 2021, 12:00 PM·2 min read
A Los Angeles-based marijuana delivery service is hiring a paid intern for three months to test its products and write reviews.

The job will pay $15 an hour for up to 16 hours a week, and applicants must include a one-page writing sample or a video shorter than 4 minutes and 20 seconds detailing why they are perfect for the role.

Perfect for the role, hmmm.   Undecided

Hey, I live less than 20 miles from the border and was a CA resident for 9 years.  Do you think that will count?   Also I do ride  in CA a lot especially during the winter months.

WTH ! You trying to edge me out of my new job ?  Grin

Hey, not trying to edge you out.  Just thinking on joining you.  You down south, me on the north.  What could go wrong.

I still can eat a lot, not sure about a whole pan of brownies though.   2funny

I'm sure that after a couple of the special ones, you'll be eating the rest of the pan.

Only to work at 530 in the AM (reasonably cool) and then home at 4PM (unreasonably hot).  The windscreen comes off the bike shortly, which helps some.  LHC is probably 5-10 degrees hotter than here, so I can easily see you putting the bike up until fall.  This is sort of our "winter" season.

Yeah that's something to real proud of. I personally never saw the need to get high. I've never ever used illegal drugs. I don't even like using high end pain killers. Don't like that feeling of being disconnected.

Yeah thats something to look forward to doing in retirement. Whatever floats your boat....

I have never smoked a marijuana cigarette but I was always curious about the stuff. During my high school days in the early 70s I was always like the 'designated' driver because 1) I actually owned a car, and, 2) I worked and had money for gas. My friends would 'blaze up' (I got that from a movie) while I was driving us around and I would roll down my window so that I could breath.

They would start talking 'differently' shortly, which, I would assume, was because they were starting to feel an effect from what they were doing.

Mind you, I don't offer up that I was a Puritan in all this, because, I would be drinking beer (not a lot) while my friends were 'blazin'.

I do still find myself 'curious' about the stuff but am not actively seeking it out.

And now...they make it into brownies and pudding and....whatever?
