I was using weather.gov but they decided to fix it until it broke.

Now it's awful.

If it's a modern Windows OS on the laptop, this is an app not just a website, but I use the app on my phone, and have recently switched to it on my Windows PCs as well:

I use Weather Underground.  Just found it one day (don't remember how) and then, it allows me to link in my personal weather station to the site so I can monitor the weather at home when I am on the road.

There are three links below.  The first is the link I use to start "Weather Underground".

The second link is the one that shows the weather at my location based on data from my weather station.

The third link is the link to the weather station provider.  My dad started using this weather station many years ago.  I inherited that one and then replaced it with a new one some 10 or so years ago.

https://www.wunderground.com/weather/us/sc/prosperity/KSCPROSP24

https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KSCPROSP24?cm_ven=localwx_pwsdash

https://www.davisinstruments.com/vantage-pro2/

I have often verified the radar data and find it ok.

I also use the website to look at weather when I am starting my road trips to get an idea of weather on the road ahead.  It does ok.   Nothing, prediction wise that is more than a few hours ahead is 100% reliable.  The longer the ahead look, the lower the probability of it being correct

PS I use a MacBook Air

This might sound limiting but it really isn't https://www.wral.com/weather_map_center/8106570/?default_map=icontroldoppler

WRAL is one of the stations in the Raleigh/ Durham / Fayetteville NC TV market (AFIAC - the best weather radar site I have ever seen and used). That link above can access your location for your local radar picture.

The previous version of weather.gov used to open and show you about 15 minutes of prior weather movement and 15 forecast.

Didn't have to ask the web site to do that it just did it. Simple and clear.

All of the suggestions need to have my input to show the weather movement.

Sheesh as things get "improved" they get worse. It reminds me of when I used to work at Coca-Cola HQ and a new junior VP would "improve" something. "Improve" that's the joke.
